STEVE MISCHIEF
Steve Mischief has entertained audiences across the globe with his own style of comedy , physical performance and totally embraces all things silly. Originally from small-town Australia, he now works an international circuit,annually performing on three continents. His repertoire of acts spread across the genres of street theatre, cabaret, interactive walkabout and children's entertainment. He is a regular compere/emcee and host of participatory street arts activities at festivals and events all over the world. One part stuntman, one part clown, all parts Mischief - he was the first person to bungee jump off Auckland Harbour Bridge whilst on fire. Steve Mischief as far as we know is the only semi- professional toothbrush twirler in the world. From giant balloon penetration, to standing on a bed of nails, and from comedy fire manipulation to 101 things you shouldn't do with a party popper, he is the master of miscellany and madness. Current Acts Include The Steve Mischief Street Show 40 minute danger comedy street show featuring whip cracking, fire manipulation and a firm footed finale on a bed of nails. Toothbrush Man - new for Summer 2007! Catch the world's first semi-professional toothbrush manipulator on his voyage to bring the world clean smiles. A comedy show featuring a dental superhero, a giant balloon and things you never knew were possible with a toothbrushes. The Balloonatic Walkabout - Also new for 2007 A subtle and friendly 2-person act featuring a reclusive and peculiar clown and his beautiful assistant. Leading to a daring act of 'inscapology' as the silent clown climbs inside a giant latex balloon to the delight and bewilderment of the gathered crowd. An act that is guaranteed to go off with a bang. Also available as a solo or duo stage act. Other skills also include fire manipulation and pyrotechnic installations,stiltwalking, character work, aerial rigging, event management, teaching and mentoring.
